North West Adventure-Outdoor Education Centre promotes responsible outdoor recreation through fun, leadership, teamwork and education.

Ensuring ‘duty of care’ and safety of the group at all times, in accordance with Mountaineering Ireland, The Irish Mountain Training Board, Canoe Association of Northern Ireland and the Irish Canoe Union. They protect the natural environment by promoting the ‘Leave No Trace’ programme ‘Outdoor Ethics for Outdoor Recreation’. An education programme designed to help people to make better environmental decisions when on outdoor activity.
