Bréidín na Bóinne, or Boyne Valley Tweed, is nestled in Ráth Chairn, a charming Gaeltacht community in the heart of the Boyne Valley, part of Ireland’s Ancient East.

This area is celebrated for its rich cultural heritage, where the Irish language flourishes amidst a backdrop of storytelling and craftsmanship. Visitors are invited to discover the traditional art of craft weaving.

Anna Ní Dhonnchú, a skilled hand weaver, learned her craft from master weavers in County Donegal. Her commitment to preserving this ancient craft is evident as she shares her journey and the history of tweed and weaving in Ireland.
