Dooshean Beach, or, in Irish Dún Síon’s Beach, has views of Kinnard Village in the neighbouring parish of Lispole. The “Siorrach”, meaning foal, is a sea stack which can be seen from the beach and is said to resemble a foal.

A river flows down along the shore of the beach until it reaches the sea, which causes tidal currents. Swimming on Doonshean Beach is not recommended, but it is a popular spot for sea anglers at high tide.
