Silverstrand Beach faces directly into Galway Bay providing spectacular views for visitors. It is located on the outskirts of Galway City and is approximately 0.25km in length. Facilities include a car park, toilets and a picnic area. There is also wheelchair access to the beach.

The beach is lifeguarded during the summer months. More information can be found on the noticeboard located at the beach.
